Paras Defence secures ₹22.21 crore order from French firm Cerbair for 30 CHIMERA 200 anti-drone units through its subsidiary, Paras Anti-Drone Technologies.
On Tuesday, 1 July 2025, Paras Defence and Space Technologies informed the markets that it has won a 22.21 crore order, the latest order it has bagged with the French defence company Cerbair. The contract also provides for the delivery of 30 CHIMERA 200 systems, an anti-drone solution created by its subsidiary, Paras Anti-Drone Technologies.
The company confirmed a Letter of Intent (LoI) on the deal in an official submission to the stock exchange. The order will be delivered by Paras Anti-Drone Technologies. This subsidiary operates drone-jamming technology and has been developing an aerial threat solution. CHIMERA 200 is an anti-drone system that works to identify and delete illegal unmanned aerial vehicles in areas at risk.
Cerbair is a French company that produces counter-drone protection for military and strategic facilities. Its partnership with Paras is a significant step in the cross-border defence technology tie-ups. The order also affirms the competitiveness of Paras Defence on a global scale in the counter-drone market.
Positive Stock Performance Reflects Investor Confidence
After the announcement, the Paras Defence and Space Technologies stock rose slightly during the trading hours. The opening share price was 1,608, and at 09:55 AM, the share was traded at 1,634. Even after declining slightly, it settled at 1629.50 rupees, indicating a 2 percent daily rise.
This stock has been displaying steady growth over the months. As of 1 April, the stock price was 977. Within two months, it went to 1347 (Rs.) on 2 May and 1539 (Rs.) on 3 June. The share price was 1,629 as of 1 July, translating to an increase of about 66 percent in three months. According to market analysts, the upward trend is driven by high order inflows and widening global collaborations. The gradual victory in contracts has helped build investor confidence in the company.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies is a non-tier-2 defence supplier in India. It has a 40-year history of producing communication systems, control systems, antennas, and imaging products for defence and civilian use.
The company has seven subsidiaries dealing with different technology areas. Paras Anti-Drone Technologies mostly scouts drone solutions for agriculture, industry, and military surveillance. The order has expanded Cerbair’s international portfolio and strengthened its drone mitigation systems.
