Over 1,000 Companies Join IESW 2025 as India Pushes for Clean Energy and EV Expansion
During the India Energy Storage Week (IESW), scheduled from July 8 to 10 in New Delhi, India, is expected to receive over ₹8,000 crore in investments for clean energy. The event, which the IESA is organizing, will attract participants from other countries, policymakers, and businesses to focus on electric vehicles, energy storage, and green hydrogen. In 2025, IESW will have more than 150 partners and exhibitors and more than 1,000 companies in total.
The event aims to help businesses make deals, partnerships, and memoranda to boost India’s strength in clean technologies and assist India in its ambition to be a worldwide leader in sustainable energy technologies. Vinayak Walimbe, the Managing Director of Customized Energy Solutions, said that the event might encourage a lot of new investment in energy storage. It is expected that the conference will help create new partnerships between Indian businesses and foreign companies operating in clean technology.
Participation from Global Delegates and Indian States
As mentioned in IESA, Australia, Germany, France, the UK, Finland, the USA, Canada, Israel, and South Korea will be sending delegates to IESW 2025. The event is supported by some central ministries, as well as Gujarat, Odisha, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. Debmalya Sen, President of IESA, mentioned that the 2025 edition of IESW will highlight advancements and foreign money that could boost the industry’s development.
As India invests in electric vehicle (EV) systems, batteries, and new hydrogen-based technologies, the event shows the country’s will to be at the forefront of green industrial solutions. IESA helps ensure India’s plans for clean energy by focusing on cutting carbon emissions and increasing the production of clean energy equipment. These sectors play a key role in reaching sustainability goals for the future.
Clean Tech Startups and Manufacturing Drive
IESW 2025 will invest in areas such as batteries, electric vehicle infrastructure, and green hydrogen. The investment firm says the mobility and battery industries could receive approximately $500 million in investment by next year.
A government survey in 2023 found that over 6,600 new clean technology initiatives were running in 450 districts across 34 states and union territories. Such numbers demonstrate that India’s energy sector is full of innovative ideas and will likely see further growth in the future. IESW 2022 wishes to bring together these startups and investors, as well as global innovators, to help India grow in clean energy manufacturing through teamwork and investments.
