Lodha Developers is clearly not playing around in 2026. The Mumbai-based giant just finalized a deal to grab an 80% stake in Solidrise Realty for about ₹294.07 crore. This isn’t just a random purchase; it’s a total power move to dominate Pune. According to the regulatory filings, the deal was signed on February 14 and basically wrapped up by today, February 16. Solidrise is now officially a subsidiary. It’s a cash transaction, which shows Lodha has plenty of liquidity right now. They’ve already built over 100 million square feet of space across India, but they’re clearly hungry for more in Maharashtra’s second-largest city.

The timing is pretty interesting too. They just released their Q3 results, and the numbers are solid. Consolidated net profit hit ₹956.9 crore, which is a slight 1.3% bump from last year. Revenue from operations actually jumped by 14.4% to ₹4,672 crore. This gives them a lot of room to breathe while they expand into places like Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. Investors seem to like the vibe; the share price even ticked up today. But it’s not all just about building flats. Lodha is also betting big on data centers. They recently signed a massive ₹1 lakh crore MoU with the state government for a data center park.

So, why Pune? Well, Pune has moved from being just a neighbor to Mumbai to a primary growth engine. Organised players like Lodha are snapping up land parcels—like the five new ones they added recently—to build luxury and premium housing. Some analysts think the stock is getting a bit expensive, but the company’s “supermarket” strategy seems to be working for now. They want to be everywhere you look. If you’re living in Pune, expect to see a lot more of that Lodha logo very soon. It’s an aggressive play, but that is how you win in 2026.
